 1973年英国（スコットランド）生まれ。生まれ育ったスコットランドという環境は、「国際化・異文化間同士の交流」という一つの目標を早くから彼の中に目覚めさせた。
高校ではいくつかの言語を専攻し（フランス語＝上級、ドイツ語＝中級、ギリシア語＝初級）、卒業後はかねてより憧れていたアジア諸国を旅して回る。
イギリスに戻りスティアリング大学入学（専攻は宗教哲学）。1995年卒業（学士号）。異文化理解への情熱はとぎれる事なく、言語を通した国際化の一躍を担うために、1996年トルニティー・カレッジにてTESOL（第二および外国語としての英語教授法）の資格を取得。
イギリスのインターナショナルスクール等で英語教師としての経験を積んだ後、1997年来日。
2001年からスティアリング大学のMBAコースに在籍。自然と旅を愛し、禅と仏教に興味あり。また人と人との交流に興味を持ち、何に対しても情熱を惜しまない。
これまで英語教育を担当したのは三菱電気システムサービス、メルセデスベンツシュテルン、福岡市教育委員会その他多数、これまで教えた生徒は幼稚園児からビジネスマンまで千人以上。日本語もできます。
