We aim to teach kids following English
topics within 2 years:
Self-introductions, greetings, small talk, daily
expressions; plus common objects, daily verbs &
sports, numbers, colours, days, months and time, birthdays,
simple geography, clothes, the body, foods, shopping,
adjectives, jobs, family and friends, prepositions,
likes & dislikes; cultural/contemporary topics
e.g.Xmas.
Our school philosophy is to help children to become
comfortable using daily expressions, whilst building
vocabulary, ABC`s, phonics & spelling/ reading
skills. In this way, they will naturally gain the
confidence/ fluency to ask simple, practical questions
which they can use during or outside of class e.g.`I`m
finished!`, `please give me!’, `What`s this?`.
Lesson activities are designed to present or review
these points in every class & use imagination
e.g. to play a shopping game.
