There are 3 systems for payment: to pay either in 3
month terms, monthly or to buy a multiple lesson ticket.
Most students pay fees at the bank by furikommi. This
is the most convenient way- please look in your joining
info pack- you will find our bank account details. If
you have lost it, then we`ll send it to you again. If
you are busy, you can even set up an automatic transfer,
then you don`t even need to visit the bank (but it can
still be cancelled just days before if need be). We
recommend you arrange to use this system. Fees to be
paid by the 10th of the month.
You will receive a schedule for 6 months lessons
. Except for occasional circumstances, you need to
agree in advance that you can keep to the schedule
(unless remake lessons are negotiated with the teacher).
Lessons are 5o-60 minutes unless it says otherwise.
Please note lesson fees are negotiable with the school.
Note also that we may sometimes charge up to an extra
maximum 1000 yen per class.
1) THREE MONTH TERM FEES:
This system, you pay January to March; April to June;
July to September; October to December.
The fee depends on the number of lessons scheduled
in that term. If you after a term has started, then
the fee is calculated by number of lessons remaining.
2) MONTHLY FEES:
In the monthly fees system, you pay either for an
average 4 lessons a month ( you may study 3 times
only on Mondays and special circumstances). Average
number of lessons is 46 per year.
3) MULTIPLE LESSON TICKET:
This costs the same as 10 times the lesson fee and
can be used with café lessons and intensive
courses. You can use it whenever you like, but it
expires after 3 months only. For example, if you started
your first lesson on April 15th then the ticket will
expire June 14th. Each lesson, the teacher will stamp
your lesson ticket until all lessons are used. Classes
may also follow a flexible schedule.
GROUP LESSONS:
2,000 yen (pre school Group lessons in Yakuin only,
40 minutes)
2,975 yen (Group lessons )
3,825 yen (Group lessons, 80 minutes)
PRIVATE LESSONS:
4,000 yen (1-1 only Cafe lesson)
4,750 yen (Private lessons, Tenjin only, intensive
course of 10 lessons per month)
4,000 yen (Family lesson, 40 minutes short lesson
fro pre school)
5,500 yen (Private lesson or family lesson, or students`
home)
7,500 yen (Private lesson or Family lesson, 80 minutes)
7,000 yen (Circle lesson, 3 members or more)
6,000 yen (reduced rate for Circle lesson or less
than 2 members)
10,000 yen (Circle or Business lesson, 90 minutes)
12,000 yen ( 3 x 30 min. lessons, Kindergartens,
Elementary schools)

COOKING LESSONS WITH NATIVE TEACHER ( 60-90

buy ingredients)
`Practise makes perfect!`:
It`s important that you can study regularily. Otherwise
students will not review lesson points well, nor do
teachers want irregular employment. However, if you
believe that you can`t study each week, please discuss
your request with us.
