私は韓国のプサン市の西３５キロの所にあるチャンヲンで生まれました。私はマサン大学で歯科衛生学を学びました。韓国の最も大きなデンタルクリニックで歯科衛生士として１０年間働きました。私はまた仕事をしながら、韓国語を教えた経験がありますので、日本人にも英語を話す外国の方にも韓国語を教えることが出来ます。韓国でも日本語を勉強しましたし、日本の東和大学でも勉強しました。日本にもう３年住んでいます。英語も出来ます。天神地区や東の方の地区でしたら、教えられると思います。

I was born in Changwon, about thirty five killometers west of Busan, Korea. I went to Masan Unversity and studied dental hygiene. I　worked for ten years as a dental hygienist at the largest dental clinic in South Korea. I also taught Korean to some foreigners in Korea while working as a dental tech and enjoyed it a lot and am sure I could teach Korean to just about any Japanese or English-speaking individuals. I studied Japanese in Korea and at Towa University and have lived in Japan for three years now. I also read, write and speak English fluently. I can teach you in Tenjin area or east of the city.

University of Singapore in 1994, majoring in Chinese Studies and Japanese Studies. This is my 8th year of residence in Japan. I obtained my Master degree in Linguistics in Year 2000 from the Linguistics Department, Faculty of Letters, Kyushu University and is currently in the 4th year of my Doctorate Program in the same school.

はじめまして！テオ・チュウヨン（張楚栄）と申します。1994年にシンガポール国立大学を卒業し（専攻：漢学・日本研究）、沖縄で1年間の交換留学生活を経て、1997年に九州大学文学部言語学科の修士課程に入学しました。2000年に修士学位を獲得し、今は同じ学科の博士課程の4回生です。母国では、英語と中国語を第一言語として習得し、シンガポールの国立教育機関で非常勤の日本語講師としての経験を持っています。また、英語・中国語に関しては大学生から専業主婦、予備校の先生、医者まで、幅広い対象に個人レッスンを行った経験もあります。皆さんとお会いできるのを心からお待ちしています！

Regarding teaching...I have a TEFL certificate, so I am a qualified language teacher. I have taught English and Italian as a foreign language to students in my home country of Malta for 5 yearsas well as here in Japan for 2 years. For the past 2 years, I have taught Italian to about 5 people on a one to one basis, but I have no problem teaching small groups. These students varied from pensioners (ex teachers) to office workers to law court officials.
